Homecoming is a very special and productive time at Tennessee Wesleyan. Of course we all know about most of the usual things that go on at Homecoming such as the King and Queen being chosen and the games that will be played that night will be exciting, but there are a number of other events and activities that make Homecoming at TWC really special.
There will be numerous activities that feature the Tennessee Wesleyan Alumni which include an Alumni Golf tournament, Softball and baseball game, an Alumni and student pick up volleyball game, and the Alumni choir will team up with the current TWC choir in a performance. The Alumni have a very important role here at the college. Homecoming is especially important to the Alumni and the Alumni is very important to Homecoming. The amount of donations given by the Alumni affects the college greatly, therefore, homecoming is exciting to them because they have the opportunity to come in and see where their money is going.
Alumni are not the only people that make Homecoming an exciting time here. Other activities will be going on as well. There will be a tailgate party featuring music by Chris Hennessee, a lacrosse scrimmage will take place on the lawn of Wesley Commons, an art exhibit by TWC students will be set up in the Elliot Hall Common Room, and on Saturday your parents will be able to come and join in on the festivities as well. These events and activities look to make TWC’s Homecoming something to see.
