You’re probably getting emails about what all is happening at The Arts Center, but here is an in-depth look at what all is going on. Coming up on March 13th there will be a special show! This concert will reunite three musicians who have not played to¬gether in over 35 years! Ro¬adApple, the band’s name, has only had one concert to date. This concert will be a special one for TWC students, especially since the one and only concert was in 1974 in Townsend Auditorium.
SGA decided to find some local talent as a warm-up band for a sym¬phony concert, and it just so happened RoadApple was it! RoadApple will perform on Friday, March 13th at 7:30 PM at The Arts Cen¬ter.
Throughout March, an assortment of watercolor paintings will be on display at The Arts Center. The art¬ist, Sandy Brown, has enti¬tled her gallery Unmapped. The Arts Center says, “The focus is upon painting rela¬tionships rather than things and personifying or giving shape to emotions.”
Ms. Brown is the watercolor instructor at The Arts Center, so be sure to check up on when water-color lessons will be taught! The show will end on Friday, March 27th.
On Thursday, April 16th, Chapter 6 will be perform¬ing live at The Arts Center! Chapter 6 will be perform¬ing an array of songs, in¬cluding a capella, jazz, rock, gospel, pop, and classical! The event, sponsored by Tennessee Wesleyan Col¬lege, is sure to be a crowd pleaser! The Arts Center is very excited about having such a dynamic and excit¬ing group! Don’t forget to check it out- Friday, March 16th at 7:30 PM!
