I took a trip to the carbon footprint calculator, and I realized my new habit of bike riding would offset my footprint by somewhere in the ballpark of 1 ton of CO2. If making this small change could have such a vast impact, I was confident that I could find other small things. What else could I do to make a difference?

Did you ever wonder?

Did you ever wonder why President Obama’s speech to school children was so controversial? Was it because the speech was actually controversial? Was it because he spoke to school children or because he is a Democrat?

On September 8th, 2009, McMinn County Schools required parental permission to view Obama’s speech to schoolchildren.
