By popular demand, the Merner Pfeiffer Library has extended their nightly hours in an effort to provide greater assistance to the student body. The library will now be open from 8:00 a.m. to midnight on Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays, closed on Saturdays, and open from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Merner-Pfeiffer Library
The idea behind this expansion was brought before the Student Government Association and an unofficial petition was passed throughout the student body. The expansion in library hours was put into action this semester and so far has gotten much praise from library patrons campus wide. This decision also puts the Merner Pfeiffer library up to par with campus libraries at larger schools like Carson–Newman, Maryville College, and UT.
Also, because of this expansion in hours, Tennessee Wesleyan College and Merner Pfeiffer Library welcome a new member of the library staff. Tyler Dunsmore is the newest addition at Merner Pfeiffer Library and will be working along with a student assistant nightly from 9:00 p.m. until closing. Feel free to come to him with any questions you may have while in the library.
The entire staff of Merner Pfeiffer Library urges you to make use of this expansion and use the library to its full potential. They are more than happy to assist you with obtaining any material needed, be it in periodicals, e-books, or any other type of media. The Merner Pfeiffer Library has it all. Please stop by and experience all the Merner Pfeiffer Library has to offer, now open later to further benefit the students of Tennessee Wesleyan College.
