Referring to the men’s soccer game against Tennessee Temple yesterday, September 22, the opposing team was crushed by the Bulldogs. I’m not the most avid sports fan, but even I know that any team who defeats another team 17-0 has some merit.
“The team appears to be evenly matched against other teams in our division, with a record of 4 wins and 3 losses so far this season.”
The team appears to be evenly matched against other teams in our division, with a record of 4 wins and 3 losses so far this season. However, a win as complete as the matchup against Temple will be hard to top in the next game against Bryan College. I asked Brandon Kendall, a Wesleyan soccer player and junior this year, what his opinion was of the team’s victory and what to expect in the next game.
COWAN: How excited was the team over beating Temple?
KENDALL: Very excited. It was a good win. There were a lot of goals, and the coach seemed very happy for the wins.
COWAN: Before playing Temple, did the team feel that it would be an easy win?
KENDALL: It was expected to be a game of many goals due to the other stats we were given from other teams about Temple.
COWAN: For the game against Bryan College, what will be the team’s greatest challenges?
KENDALL: Working together and playing as a team. We tend to have our selfish moments, and we need to work as a team.
dont talk trash about my squad, ill take care of mine, and you take care of yours
Kendall doesn’t even play for the varsity squad. 25/25 off you go!
