Did You Ever Wonder how to choose classes for the next semester? The first step is to have a copy of the requirements for your field of study.
After October 28, the day the registrar’s office says the schedule will be available, go online to http://www.twcnet.edu/. Click on the tab labeled academics and then click the tab for the spring 2010 schedule. Decide which classes you need to take that are available next semester and make a chart of all available times the courses are offered that work best with your schedule. Fill out a registration form with your desired classes.
Make an appointment with your advisor on the week of November 2-6. Be sure to keep your appointment time, because their time is just as valuable as yours. At your appointment your advisor will go over the schedule with you and sign your registration form.
On November 9, seniors will be allowed to register for their classes. Juniors get to start registering on the tenth. Sophomores start on the eleventh and freshmen on the twelfth. But don’t delay because if you really want to take the course on Art of the Egyptian tombs and not History of Tennessee Wesleyan Football you need to hurry.
P.S. Don’t forget to ask your advisor about joining the newspaper staff for course credit.
