Tennessee Wesleyan University Women’s Soccer Alive and Kickin’

womens-soccer    Fall sports have begun here at Tennessee Wesleyan. One of the many is soccer, men’s and women’s soccer. The women’s team record so far this season is 5-4-0, with four of those wins being at home, and one being away.

Amy Panayi, a senior who has dedicated all four years to Wesleyan had a few words to say about the current season. She stated, “As a whole this year, our team has so much depth. We have a great freshman class, with many freshman starters who have really stepped up to the collegiate level.”

The Lady Bulldogs have played three conference games so far this season, with a record of 1-2. Amy also added, “With only three conference games played, anything can happen. Take every game as it comes, show our courage and work ethic, and I believe we can be capable of anything. ” With that said, let’s hope both our men’s and women’s team continue to achieve success throughout the season! Make sure to show your support for not only the TWU soccer team’s but all athletic sports here at the university!
